BEEF - CABBAGE JAMBALAYA 
1 head cabbage, shredded
1 lb. ground chuck
1 lg. onion
1 c. raw rice
1 c. water
Oregano
Thyme
Salt & red pepper

Brown meat in a large Dutch oven. Add onions and shredded cabbage and cook until cabbage begins to get tender, about 10 minutes. Add seasonings to taste, water and rice. Cover and cook on low heat for 1 hour.
