HOMINEY GRITS CHEDDAR CHEESE
CASSEROLE
 
1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
3 eggs, well beaten
6 c. boiling water
1 tsp. garlic salt
3/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/4 lb. butter
1 1/2 c. grits
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. Lawry's seasoning salt

Boil grits in water (unsalted) for 5 minutes or until thick. Add salt, garlic salt, Lawry's salt, and Tabasco sauce. Mix well. Add grated cheese and mix well. Gently fold in the eggs, mixing well. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees in a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole
