GREEK FESTIVAL LOUKOMADES 
5 c. flour
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 stick butter
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. milk, scalded
1 tsp. salt
1 c. water
3 tbsp. sugar
Oil for frying

TOPPING:

Warm honey and cinnamon (optional)

Scald milk with butter, COOL and add salt and eggs. Mix yeast, sugar and water, add to milk. Next, add flour to liquid mixture a cupful at a time and mix well. Cover mixture and let rise until double in bulk. Then add 1 teaspoonful at a time to oil in fryer (350 degrees). Remove when medium brown in color. Top with honey and cinnamon.
