3 sticks butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
5 eggs
2 to 3 tbsp. almond or lemon flavoring
2/3 c. 7 Up or Sprite

Cream butter and sugar. Add flour, blend. Add remaining ingredients. Grease and flour Pyrex pan 13 x 9 x 2. Bake at 325 degrees, 45 to 55 minutes or until light golden brown and sides pull away.
