7 c. flour 1 lb. butter 1/2 c. shortening 5 tbsp. sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. salt 1 c. canned milk 1 cake household yeast (soak in a little warm water until dissolved) FILLING: 3 lbs. ground nuts Add enough canned milk to moisten Add sugar to taste Combine butter, shortening, eggs, milk and yeast. Add flour, salt and sugar. Mix and knead dough until no longer sticks to your fingers. Chill at least 2 hours or overnight. Roll dough thin. Cut in triangles. Fill. Bake at 425 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. |
