PEARADISE UPSIDE - DOWN CAKE | |
6 canned pear halves, drained 1/4 c. butter 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 1/3 c. Bisquick 3/4 c. sugar 1/3 c. cocoa 3 tbsp. shortening 1 egg 3/4 c. milk Melt butter in 9-inch square pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Arrange pears on top. In bowl, mix Bisquick, sugar, and cocoa. Add shortening, egg, and 3/4 cup milk. Beat well for 1 minute. Pour batter over pears. Bake 45-55 minutes at 350 degrees. Invert at once on serving plate. Serve warm with whipped cream. |
