CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. (3 sticks) butter, softened
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, room temp.
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. plain flour, sifted
1/4 tsp. salt
Confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour 10 inch tube pan or 12 cup bundt pan.

Beat butter, sugar and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend into creamed mixture.

Spoon batter into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 minutes; turn out onto wire rack and cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
