STUFFED CLAMS 
2 cans minced clams (6 1/2 oz. each)
3/4 stick butter
1 sm. onion, minced
1/2 green pepper, chopped fine
Seasoned bread crumbs
Parsley flakes
Strips cheese (not Velveeta) or raw bacon

Saute onion and green pepper in butter. Empty clams, juice and all, into butter mixture. Add parsley, salt, pepper and bread crumbs to the consistency of dressing. Stuff clams. They may be frozen at this point. When ready to serve, place strips of cheese or bacon on top; bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. Yields approximately 8 clams.
