STUFFED CLAMS 
3 doz. clams, well-scrubbed
2 tbsp. seasoned bread crumbs
1 lg. garlic clove, minced
1/4 c. butter

Steam clams in small amount of water until shells open. Cool and remove clams from shells. Save shells, using the best ones for stuffing. Set clams back on half shells. Melt butter, add garlic and saute briefly. Add bread crumbs to make stuffing. Place 1 teaspoon of stuffing mixture on top of each clam. Broil until lightly browned.
