Crumb Cake with Lots of Crumbs - Recipe

CRUMB CAKE WITH LOTS OF CRUMBS

1 box yellow cake mix
4 eggs
2/3 c. oil
2/3 c. milk

CRUMB MIXTURE:

4 sticks butter, melted
4 c. flour
2/3 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Grease a 9x13 inch pan with shortening and dust with flour. Mix first 4 ingredients. Pour into pan. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.

Melt butter. Add remaining ingredients at little at a time until completely mixed and crumbly. Gently place crumb mixture evenly on top of partially cooked cake. Return to oven for additional 25 minutes. When cake is cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Have to leave an other review... end of summer BBQ today and special request for the dessert table... you guessed it.... another crumb cake! Always rave reviews... This is a definite go to recipe. Always bring to different functions and then the requests begin to make it again and again... cake in oven as I write this. Happy Labor Day weekend. :)
