GRANDPA'S CHILI 
1 lb. hamburger meat
1 lb. Tennessee Pride sausage
green pepper
onion
1-2 cloves garlic
2 medium cans crushed/peeled tomatoes
water
1 can dark kidney beans
1 can light kidney beans
2-3 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
salt to taste

Brown hamburger meat and sausage in a large heavy pot. Sauté chopped green pepper and onion. Add green pepper, onion, garlic, cans of tomatoes and 1 can of water to the meat.

Add all the spices. Drain kidney beans and add.

Let simmer for a few minutes.

Goes well with white rice and sharp cheddar cheese.
