SIMPLE CHOCOLATE CHIP NUT BARS 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/4 c. water
2 eggs
1/4 c. soft butter
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine half of dry cake mix, water, eggs, butter, and brown sugar in mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly. Blend in remaining cake mix. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Batter will be stiff.

Spread in greased and floured 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch pan or two 8 x 8 inch pans. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cool. Cut into bars.
