SOUR CHERRY PUDDING 
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (#2) can pitted sour cherries with juice
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 egg, beaten lightly
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped

Sift flour, sugar, baking soda and salt in mixing bowl. Mix cherries and juice into dry ingredients. Add melted butter, egg and vanilla, stirring well. Then pour into well greased baking pan. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixed with nuts over the top. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 8.
