TEXAS CORNBREAD 
1 1/2 c. cornmeal
3 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. sugar
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. corn (canned cream style)
1 c. cheese (sharp, grated)
1 c. sour cream
1 c. bell pepper
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. oil
Salt

Mix above ingredients. Add meal and baking powder last. Bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes. When baked, pour 1/2 cup melted butter on top of bread. Makes 1 oblong cake pan full.
