BEEF-AND-SPINACH DIP 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen creamed spinach, thawed
1 to 1 1/2 tsp. hot sauce
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/3 c. refrigerated shredded Parmesan cheese

Cook beef and onion in a large skillet, stirring until beef crumbles and is no longer pink; drain. Stir in cream cheese and next 3 ingredients; cook over low heat, stirring often until cream cheese melts. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Serve with tortilla chips.

Yield: 4 cups.

Prep: 10 minutes. Cook: 20 minutes.
