ZELTA'S HOMEMADE APPLESAUCE 
Use approximately 16 small apples (peel, seed, and quarter them). Place in salt water while working to keep them whiter. Use 3 cups water to 1 cup sugar (3 to 1 ratio). Bring apples, sugar, and water to a boil. Cook until soft (approximately 30 to 45 minutes). Chop in blender and refrigerate.
