YELLOW SQUASH CASSEROLE 
1 lb. squash, cooked
1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. mayonnaise
Salt & pepper to taste
1 egg, beaten

Mix all ingredients. Pour into 2 quart greased casserole. Top with buttered cracker crumbs and chopped pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Serves 6.
