CHICKEN AND SAUSAGE BAKE 
1 (2 to 3 lb.) frying chicken, cut into serving pieces
1 lb. sweet Italian sausage cut into pieces
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 sweet green pepper, cut into chunks

Preheat oven to 375 degrees lightly saute chicken and sausage in large oven proof casserole until browned. Add tomatoes, garlic and green pepper.

Bake, covered, 1 1/2 hours or until broth is somewhat reduced and chicken is tender.
