PUMPKIN APPLE CRISP 
4 c. diced pumpkin
4 c. peeled and diced apples
1/2 c. pure maple syrup
1 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9 x 13 baking dish and fill it with the pumpkin and apples. Pour the maple syrup over the top. Combine the flour, sugar, spices, and salt. Cut the butter into the flour mixture with a pastry cutter. Sprinkle over the pumpkin.

Bake for 40 minutes or until pumpkin is tender with a fork.
