FRENCH DONUTS 
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
4 eggs
Oil or shortening

Put butter into boiling water and stir until melted. Add flour and stir until well mixed. Add 1 egg at a time and beat well. Drop by tablespoons into hot oil or shortening. Yields 33 donuts. Roll in sugar or powdered sugar.
