LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef
Onion to taste
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
2 c. water
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. garlic powder
Pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Brown meat and onion; add sauce, paste, water, salt, sugar, garlic powder, pepper and oregano. Simmer uncovered stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, cook lasagna. Drain. In 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan spread about 1 cup sauce. Then alternate layers of lasagna, sauce, and cheese, ending with sauce and cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes until browned. Allow to stand 15 minutes. Cut into squares. 8 servings.
