1 c. granulated sugar
1 1/4 c. dark corn syrup
4 eggs, slightly beaten
4 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Boil sugar and syrup together 3 minutes. Beat eggs with whisk. Pour hot mixture over beaten eggs. Add butter, vanilla, and nuts. Bake in unbaked pie shell at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until pie is set.
