HEARTY BEEF 'N POTATO CASSEROLE 
4 c. (1/2 of 30 oz. bag) frozen potato rounds
1 lb. ground beef
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
1 (2.8 oz.) can Durkee French fried onions
1 med. tomato, chopped (optional)
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of celery soup
1/3 c. milk
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper

Place potatoes on bottom and up sides of 8 x 12-inch casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Brown beef in large chunks; drain. Place beef, broccoli, 1/2 can Durkee French fried onions, and tomatoes in potato shell.

Combine soup, milk, 1/2 cup cheese, and seasonings; pour over beef mixture. Bake covered at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and onions; bake uncovered 2-3 minutes longer.

Microwave Directions: Crumble beef in large bowl. Cook on High 4-5 minutes; stir halfway through cooking time. Drain well. Stir in broccoli, 1/2 can Durkee French fried onions, soup, milk, 1/2 cup cheese, and spices.

Cook, uncovered, on High 6 minutes; stir halfway through. Add tomatoes, spoon into potato-lined casserole. Cook uncovered on High 8 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and onions. Cook on High 1 minute.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
