2 lbs. new potatoes 4 tbsp. butter 3 or 4 cloves garlic or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 3 fresh tomatoes, peeled and quartered 1 1/2 lbs. fresh green beans (can use canned or French style) 1 1/2 tsp. basil dry, salt and pepper 1/3 stick butter 1 tbsp. lemon juice Peel potatoes and cook in water in a skillet. Mix butter, beans, tomatoes, salt and pepper, garlic, basil. Cook until tenderness desired. When done put in serving dish. Drain potatoes and put on top of vegetable dish. In saucepan put 1/2 cup butter, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and let come to a boil, then pour over vegetable dish. |
