DOUBLE CHOCOLATE FUDGE | |
2 sticks butter 1 can evaporated milk 1 tbsp. vanilla 5 c. sugar 2/3 c. powdered cocoa 1 (24 oz.) pkg. chocolate morsels 4 c. chopped pecans 1 (7 oz.) marshmallow cream Mix sugar and cocoa together in bowl; set aside. Melt butter in large heavy pot; add milk and vanilla. Stir well, then add sugar mixture. With large metal spoon, stir to bottom of pot and blend all ingredients. Bring to a boil and cook 6 minutes. Continue to stir often to keep from scorching. After 6 minutes, turn off heat; do not remove from unit. Add morsels, stirring until they are melted; add marshmallow cream and stir until it is melted and well blended with the chocolate. Add nuts; mix well and pour into pans. Let cool and slice. |
