PURPLE DESSERT 
2 ready made angel food cakes, torn in bite size pieces
2 (21 oz.) cans blueberry (Comstock) pie filling
1 lg. container Cool Whip (save 1/4 for topping)
1/2 c. finely chopped salted peanuts

In a large bowl mix torn cake pieces, blueberry pie filling and 3/4 of Cool Whip. Mixture will turn purple in color. After mixed place in a pretty clear bowl or trifle bowl. Put remaining Cool Whip on top for icing look. Then place the nuts for decoration. Chill. Use for a quick and easy recipe. (I use it at special occasions for the unusual color it has.) Yield: 10 or more servings. 1 tablespoon each.
