STREUSEL FILLED COFFEE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 egg
1/2 c. milk

FILLING:

1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Sift all dry ingredients, cut into Crisco. Beat egg into milk, mix into dry ingredients slowly. Grease 9"x13" pan. Spread half of batter in pan, then half of filling. Then rest of batter and the rest of the filling (4 layers). Bake at 450 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
