Empty 1 (16 oz.) container (about 4 cupfuls, dry measure) of bread crumbs into a deep bowl and stir in 1/2 cup vegetable oil with a fork or pastry blender until evenly distributed. Add 1 teaspoon pepper, 1 tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon paprika, 1 tablespoon celery salt (onion or garlic powder may also be added to suit your taste). Moisten chicken with water, shake in bag using above coating. Put skin side up in non-stick pan, single layer. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes. No other fats or oils need be added. Chicken will look dry looking at first (usually first 20 minutes) but then the coating will work and chicken will be crisp. (If additional crispness is desired leave an additional 20 minutes)
