SLOPPY JOES ON A BUN 
1 med. onion, chopped (about 1/2 c.)
1 lg. rib celery, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1 tbsp. oil
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. diced cheese
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt

Saute onion, celery and green pepper in oil until tender. Add beef. Cook and stir until meat is browned. Spoon off fat. Stir in cheese, tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire sauce and salt. Cover and simmer. Serve on buns. Makes 6-8 servings.
