9x13 glass baking dish 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1 yellow or white cake mix (NO PUDDING IN MIX) 1 1/2 sticks butter 1 can cherry pie filling 1 c. finely chopped nuts Cool Whip Mix cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple and nuts in bottom of baking dish (NOT greased). Spread DRY cake mix (DO NOT MIX) over pineapple, cherry, nut mixture. Cut butter into thin pats and cover cake mix with them. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes. Cool---Serve with Cool Whip or whipped cream. |
