BAKED LASAGNA | |
1/2 lb. Italian sausage 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tsp. dried oregano 1/2 tsp. salt 2 (16 oz.) jars spaghetti sauce 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1 (16 oz.) pkg. Prince lasagna 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1/2 c. Prince grated Parmesan cheese 2 c. cottage cheese 2 tbsp. parsley flakes 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced Stick of pepperoni, sliced Brown meat; drain. Add garlic, oregano, salt. Simmer 3-5 minutes. Stir in spaghetti sauce and paste; cook, stirring for 10-15 minutes. Boil lasagna in salted water; stir with wooden spoon. Combine egg, cottage, Mozzarella, Parmesan cheeses, parsley and pepper. Blend well. Layer lasagna, then cheese, then spaghetti sauce. Keep layering in 13 1/2 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Sauce is better if you let it simmer slow in crock pot overnight. |
