PECAN BUTTER BALLS 
2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. finely chopped pecans

Sift flour, sugar and salt. Work in butter and vanilla. Add chopped nuts. Mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls.

Bake on cookie sheet in a 325°F oven for about 20 minutes. May be rolled in powdered sugar, if desired.
