APPLE - NUT CAKE 
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
3 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. diced apples
1 c. nuts

ICING:

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. evaporated milk

Cake: Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours in a tube pan.

Icing: Stir until dissolved. Boil 2 1/2 minutes. Cool.
