BREAD PUDDING 
2 c. stale bread, cake, rolls or Danish pastry, cubed
1 c. milk, whole or skim
1/4 c. sugar, mixed with 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
2 tbsp raisins, optional

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat egg and add milk and sugar. Place bread in buttered oven proof dish. Pour milk custard over bread, let stand into bread. Add raisins. Bake 20 minutes or until pudding is firm. Serve warm or cold.
