CINNAMON BISCUITS | |
3 c. flour 1/2 c. sugar 3/4 c. cold butter 1 c. buttermilk Cut butter into flour and sugar, mix, add buttermilk, place on floured surface and roll into about 1/4 inch thickness. Melt 3/4 stick butter, spread on top of bread, sprinkle 2 tablespoons cinnamon over this and 6 tablespoons sugar, fold over and cut with biscuit cutter; place on greased pan, Bake at 425 degrees for about 12 minutes. Mix 1 cup powdered sugar and just enough milk to make a glaze, pour on biscuits when you take out of the oven. |
