ISLAND TERIYAKI 
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 lb. sirloin, cut in strips
Canned water chestnuts

In a bowl combine first 6 ingredients and mix well. Add meat; stir to coat. Let stand 2 hours at room temperature. Lace meat on skewers with water chestnuts. Broil 10 minutes.
