OATMEAL SCOTCH CHIPPERS 
1 1/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
3 eggs
1 1/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
4 1/2 c. old fashioned oats
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. butterscotch chips
1 c. chopped walnuts

In large mixing bowl, combine shortening, brown sugar and white sugar. Beat until well blended. Beat in eggs. Add peanut butter. Beat until blended. In another bowl, combine oats and baking soda. Using a spoon, stir into creamed mixture. Stir in chips and nuts until blended.

Drop rounded teaspoonful of dough 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 to 11 minutes. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove to cooling rack.
