PRETZELS 
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 pkg. active dry yeast
1 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
Coarse salt

1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2. Add salt and sugar.

3. Blend in flour and knead dough until smooth.

4. Cut dough into small pieces.

5. Roll out into a coil and tie into a loose knot or form creative shapes.

6. Spray cookie sheet with Pam.

7. Place on cookie sheet and brush top of pretzels with egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.

8. Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes until browned.
