STRAWBERRY CAKE | |
1 box white cake mix (Betty Crocker) 1 pkg. frozen strawberries 1 pkg. strawberry Jello 1 c. (scant) Wesson oil 4 eggs 1/2 c. hot water Cut box of berries in half while still frozen. Thaw each half in a separate dish. After the berries are thawed, remove and discard 2 tablespoons juice from each half. Dissolve Jello in 1/2 cup hot water - cool. In large bowl of mixer, blend cake mix and Wesson oil. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add jello mixture - blend. Add one bowl of the strawberries. Bake in 3 layers, at 350 degrees. ICE WITH FOLLOWING: 1 cube butter Other bowl of strawberries 1 box powdered sugar Enjoy! |
