FISH CHOWDER 
2 lbs. fish
2 c. water
4 c. cubed potatoes
6 slices bacon
2 sm. onions, diced
4 c. milk
Salt
Pepper
Butter

Put fish and water in large saucepan for 1 hour. Cook slowly until fish flake with fork. Take fish out and separate into flakes. Add to the water. Cook potatoes until tender. Meanwhile, in another pan fry bacon and onions. Cook onion until golden brown. Add to the potatoes. Add the fish. In the pan used for the bacon and onion, add milk. Heat and stir to get all the flavor. Add to the chowder. Add salt, pepper, and butter to taste. Heat, but do not boil.
