TOMATO PRESERVES 
3 qts. tomatoes
5 1/2 c. sugar
4 to 8 lemons, sliced thin
Oranges
4 to 6 sticks cinnamon

Skin tomatoes and quarter them. Get rid of excess juice but not all. Add sliced lemons and oranges. Cook in large kettle simmering on low all afternoon until thick. Periodically take spoonful and put in bowl and cool to check thickness. Add 3 envelopes of clear gelatin to help thicken.
