CHOP SUEY 
1 lb. pork, beef or chicken
2 tbsp. vegetable oil

VEGETABLES:

2 c. carrots
2 c. broccoli
2 c. string beans
1 c. onions & 2 bunches spring onions
1 red or green pepper

Or:

Plus 14 ounce bean sprouts and water chestnuts.

Cut all vegetables in strips. Cube meat across grain. Heat frying pan or pot and add oil. Brown meat. Cook briefly until brown. Add vegetables. Cook 5-8 minutes. Prepare gravy.

GRAVY:

6 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
2/3 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4-1/2 tsp. ginger
