GARDEN PATCH BARBECUE SAUCE 
1 small onion, quartered
1 clove garlic
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 c. good thick ketchup
2 tbsp. vinegar (apple)
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. basil
3 tbsp. dark brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 c. raisins
2/3 c. melted butter

Blend all ingredients in a blender until raisins are pulverized. Remove and place in a saucepan. Simmer on top of stove for about 40 to 45 minutes.

Makes 2 cups. Great for pork!
