MAPLE PUMPKIN PIE 
Single crust pastry
2 eggs
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
3/4 c. maple flavored syrup
1 c. evaporated milk or Half and Half

Prepare pastry. Make a high fluting. In a medium bowl, combine eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and salt. Beat with a wire whip or rotary beater until smooth. Add pumpkin and mix well. Gradually stir in syrup and milk until well mixed. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake in a 375°F oven 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool.
