LIVER AND ONIONS | |
The liver is more mild this way. 1 lb. liver 4 med. onions Milk Butter Dry liver with paper towels and place in bowl. Cover with milk, allowing milk to get to both sides of all pieces. Let it soak several hours or overnight in refrigerator. When ready to use liver, remove milk by using paper towels. Slice onions very thin. Using a large skillet, fry onions in butter until they are cooked the way you like. Push onions aside, or reserve in another pan to keep hot, then fry liver 2 to 3 minutes on both sides until done. |
