SARA'S SOUR CREAM BANANA NUT LOAF | |
There are many banana bread recipes available, but I find this sour cream loaf to be the moistest and tastiest! 1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 c. mashed banana 1/2 c. sour cream 1 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped nuts Cream butter, sugar and eggs; combine dry ingredients. Blend both mixtures until well mixed. Add mashed banana, sour cream, vanilla and chopped nuts. Pour into greased loaf pan. Sprinkle with sugar (optional). Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Be sure to use over ripe bananas! |
