EL GANDA (FAMILY STYLE TACO) | |
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef (2 lbs. is better) 1 lg. can tomatoes 1 pkg. chili mix 2 pkgs. yellow rice 1 can cheddar cheese soup 1/3 c. milk 1/2 c. chopped olives 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 lg. fresh tomato 1/2 c. grated cheese 1 c. shredded lettuce 1 pkg. Fritos Brown hamburger. Add chili mix and tomatoes and simmer. Cook yellow rice as directed on package. Make layer of rice, then layer of meat. Alternate until all is used. Mix milk and soup, heat until warm. Pour over meat and rice letting it soak thoroughly. Crush Fritos and sprinkle them and salad ingredients over meat mixture. Use a 9"x12" dish. Serves 6. |
