6 c. water 2 tsp. salt 2 c. yellow corn meal Boil 5 cups water. Add salt. Add meal into 1 cup of cold water and mix until smooth. To avoid lumps, add to boiling water. Stir constantly until mixture is thick, about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. Pour half in serving dish. Add sauce made with loose pork from sausage casing. Add rest of corn meal; top with the rest of sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serves 6. |
