PERSIMMON BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. persimmon pulp
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream sugar and butter; add vanilla. Add persimmon pulp to beaten eggs. Sift flour, soda, and spices. Add to persimmon egg mixture. Add nuts; pour into well greased loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees for until done.
