PEPPER RELISH 
1 qt. red pepper (approx. 10 pods)
1 qt. green peppers (approx. 10 pods)
2 c. onion (approx. 8)
1/2 qt. vinegar
3 1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 tbsp. salt
1 box mixed pickling spice

Grind or chop peppers and onions; drain off water. Combine with vinegar, sugar and salt. Place spices in cloth. Cook all ingredients together, approximately 30 minutes. Seal in hot sterilized jars. Yield: 4 to 5 pints.
